A few months ago, I did a 30-day de-cluttering challenge with a bunch of ladies/followers. It was awesome! We cleared out our physical and digital “junk” in small manageable chunks over the course of 30 days, with one small task to tackle each and every day. I got rid of SO. MUCH. STUFF.
But now there’s more to tackle. Sometimes when you dig into certain spots of your stuff, you uncover more stuff that needs to go. Sometimes when you get rid of stuff that is no longer serving you, you forget to fill the void with things that will serve you. Sometimes when you organize your space, you neglect to put in a system to keep it up. This is where I am at now. I shuffled some things around revealing more stuff that needs to be purged. I got rid of broken gadgets, unused furniture and clothes that no longer fit but didn’t replace the things that I actually need. I created nice clean spaces that are now getting out of control again.
Time to dig a little bit deeper into the sustainable changes that need to be made. Purging and getting rid of stuff is more than just about the stuff and the space you create…it’s what you do with it. Anyone with me?
